What About the Thief on the Cross?

Jesus said “he who believes and is baptized will be saved” but on a regular basis people will object to the command to be baptized saying the thief on the cross wasn’t baptized and yet he was saved. Dear friend would you appreciate with me that the thief on the cross died before Jesus’s death burial and resurrection. Romans 10:9 says “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead you will be saved”. The thief on the cross couldn’t believe in the resurrection of Christ because Christ had not yet even died.

What did thief on the cross say to Jesus?

Luke 23:39-43
39 One of the criminals who were hanged there was [a]hurling abuse at Him, saying, “Are You not the [b]Christ? Save Yourself and us!” 40 But the other answered, and rebuking him said, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? 41 And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving [c]what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.”42 And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come [d]in Your kingdom!”43 And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.”
