  1. 1Co 3:6-7 ASV I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. (7) So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

  2. I’m not really sure that “truth” is what is being revealed here. Reading the rest of the chapter and into the next it seems clear that Paul and others are teaching the truth. I suspect, instead, that the growth of one’s faith is what is increasing. We have teachers to pass on the truth to others. That is the way God designed things. He doesn’t reveal truth simply miraculously. Instead, He uses men and women to pass it along. “Go into all the world and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, TEACHING them to observe all that I have commanded you. If God simply revealed the truth, why would Jesus tell His followers to go teach others?

  3. Jesus gave those instructions to His 11 apostles Bob Roberson in the great commission to explicitly ‘make disciples’ to be led by the Spirit of the Christ and not MAN and their divisive church.

MAN and their divisive church speak from a perspective of this world, thus they speak from that perspective thus churches led by MAN instead of the Spirit leading disciples and we ALL children of God as the Father sees each of us.

This problem has existed for 2000 years as you well know prompting the Father to SPEAK the following through His Son’s apostle John.

1 John 4:4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, —“for he who is in you”— is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them.

6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

  4. What was planted and watered had results… God gave the results, if growth or understanding, from the planting and watering

  5. I received the truth from family. And bits and pieces from Sunday school. Growing up.
I put it together and still am from self Bible study.
Putting it in context rather than doctrine created from out of context verses.

  6. My Opinion is the Holy Spirit is totally in charge of revealing truth to every or each person… honest and good hearts and the willingness to do His will when revealed are conditions of receiving revealed truth, IMO.
